1. CNGbunk Chrome Extension (Zero Permissions)

The CNGbunk — CNG Pump & Bunk Finder India Chrome extension requests zero browser permissions ("permissions": [], "host_permissions": []).

• No Geolocation Access: The extension does not access browser GPS, WiFi positioning, or IP geolocation. Users enter search terms manually.
• No Browsing History or Tab Access: The extension cannot inspect, read, or modify the web pages or tabs you visit.
• No External Data Transmission: All 3,344 verified stations are bundled locally inside the extension. Keystrokes and search queries are computed in-memory on your local machine and never transmitted to our servers.
• No Cookies or User Profiling: We do not set tracking cookies or assign persistent user advertising identifiers.

2. CNGbunk.com Progressive Web App (Web & Mobile)

When using our web app (https://cngbunk.com):

• Client-Side GPS Geolocation: If you tap "Near Me" or toggle "Live Drive Mode", your browser will ask for device location permission. Your GPS coordinates are processed entirely in client-side JavaScript on your phone or computer to calculate distances to nearby stations. Your exact coordinates are never stored on or transmitted to our database servers.
• Offline Caching via Service Workers: We use progressive web app service workers to cache map tiles and station directories locally so you can find fuel in low-connectivity highway areas.
• Community Status Reporting: Voluntary crowdsourced queue and dispenser status reports are stored locally in your browser session (or submitted anonymously without personal identifying details).

3. Third-Party Services & Outbound Links

CNGbunk provides 1-tap navigation links to Google Maps (https://www.google.com/maps/) and official regulatory bodies (PESO, PNGRB, MoPNG). When you click an external link, you are directed to that third party's service, which operates under its own privacy policy.
